J.A. McGrady is a writer, designer, and creative professional whose work has appeared in Post Road, the Pinch, and Oyster River Pages, where it was the Emerging Voices in Fiction selection. Before completing her MFA at Vermont College of Fine Arts, McGrady was as an editor at HarperCollins Publishers for five years. She lives amongst the lakes and trees of a small New Jersey suburb with her partner and children, and is currently at work on a novel. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the drums, swimming, and practicing yoga.
